We believe in the oneness of God. Father in creation, Son of redemption, and The Holy Ghost as the indwelling spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the spirit God give utterance, and the water baptism in Jesus’ name. “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38

Our mission is to foster a vibrant community where individuals can deepen their faith, find support, and contribute to positive change both within our church and in the wider community.

A beacon of hope in Cleveland
On March 8, 2015, five believers (Pastor Mack Hughley, Minister Debra James Hughley, Sister Bessie Herring, Sister Kiena Hughley, and Brother Clarence Terrell, Jr.) came together, and was organized as Rose of Sharon Church of God. The name Rose of Sharon Church of God was derived from the ministry of the late Emma James Patterson, mother of Minister Debra James Hughley. Worship services were held at 3353 West 120th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44111.
Rose of Sharon Church of God has grown in its congregation and spiritual enrichment since its conception in March 2015. The first Bible study took place on June 3, 2015. Bible study is held on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m., Prayer service is held every Saturday at 10:00 a.m., Women of Worship (W.O.W.) is held every fourth Saturday at 1:00 p.m., and Hi Praize is held every fourth Sunday at 5:00 p.m. The church believes that this is only the beginning of a rich history in serving our Lord Jesus Christ. With God’s blessing, all things are possible. We stayed at our first location for 3 years and moved to 5509 Fleet Ave, Cleveland, Ohio, where we outgrew that location after 3 years and relocated to 3739 E. 93rd
Street, Cleveland, Ohio, on December 31, 2021, where we currently have our church service.
